Hi all,
I hope you're having good holiday and you're not working too hard (yeh right!).
I'm sure the space projects are going well.
I was having a look round for other schools with blogs to find out how unusual we are. I found this one.
It's called Green Park School. The amazing thing is I used to go to the school that is next door and Green Park (the park not the school) is where I spent most of my young life playing football. Great days. (sigh)
Have a look at their site. I think it's great. It's really interesting to see what another Year 5 class gets up to. I especially liked the activity were they taught and learnt a new skill. I think we'll do that ourselves when we get back to school. What do you think?
Have a look round the blog and leave a friendly comment. Make sure your writing is top quality otherwise Miss B might not publish it! I've left a message and Miss B (who is Year 5's teacher at Green Park) has said she will ask her class to look at our blog and they might do the same.

Hi Mr Perry and Y5
Just wanted to say thanks very much for taking the time to visit our blog and leaving all of the lovely comments. I've just got round to putting a link on our site to your blog, so hopefully our boys and girls will be able to check out what you get up to, too!
Thanks again and keep in touch!
Miss Blackham
Hello from Y5 at Green Park.
Hi to all of Year 5 at Kippax Greenfield Primary. I thought I'd left you a comment the other day but it must not have worked.
We at Green Park would like to say thank you very much for all the kind messages you have been leaving on our blog. It's really nice to hear from you.
My class have been looking at your blog and have tried to leave comments but haven't been able to do so. I think it's because you need a google email account to leave a comment so please don't think we're not interested in what you've been up to!
It's really good to see what other Year 5 classes around the country get up to!
Thanks again and I hope you keep visiting our blog and we'll do the same.
Bye for now
Miss Blackham
Thanks Miss Blackham. We'll keep looking at what you're up to! We could have some shared homework were I'll set some homework for both classes to do and then you can do the same the following week. Save us some work eh? Or maybe we could set up some e-pals?
Also I'll change the settings on the blog so anyone can leave a comment.
Bye for now,
Mr Perry
